Join FNESU and Monarch Maples Pediatrics in their Attendance Awareness Campaign and work with us to help all kids show up. Being in school supports students’ social, emotional and physical well-being, and provides students with opportunities to learn, achieve, and to reach for their dreams. Picture day is coming up. Friday. Oct 3rd. Photo forms are coming hone with students today. Two new background colors this year.

Thank you to our very own Sam Cavazos who shared a very informative presentation around how to stay safe when gaming online (we will be sharing this out as a resource for all) and Rebecca Rainville from Monarch Maples who shared great information about screen time and the importance of limiting it and its effects on sleep patterns. Also huge shout out to Christine and Harry from Arvin A Brown and Becca Westcom from NCSS who joined us and shared resources. Thank you to all who attended and had such great questions and insights!

So excited to have so many families join us for our first Family Friday this year. Huge shout out to Rebecca Rainville, RN Care Coordinator from Monarch Maples Pediatrics who shared Healthy Habit strategies and students and families were able to create visual schedules to use at home! Thank you all for coming, we love to have families join us at RES!

A wonderful visit to RES 1st grade from Ms Liz from ECHO. 🌟 First Grade Fun Today! 🌟 We had a wonderful visit from the Echo Center this morning! Students participated in the Launch, Fling, Fly engineering design challenge 🛠️✈️ where they got to explore creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. We also learned about the amazing journey monarch butterflies take as they migrate all the way to Mexico 🦋—a long and incredible trip for such a small creature! We are so proud of the curiosity and excitement our first graders brought to today’s learning! 💛

Reminder: Our First PreK/K Family Friday is this Friday 9/19 8:00-9:00am. Our Theme is Healthy Habits. If you have not already signed up, please let us know if you are coming. Also we will have our first Family Resource event following the classroom event -the theme is Internet Safety and screen time from 9:00-10:00 am. Hope to see you there.
